Ben Horden is sub-organist and Assistant Director of Music at St Batholomew-the-Great, London. Alongside these duties, Ben pursues a diverse career as a keyboard player and choral conductor. Ben has previously held a number of distinguished positions at Peterborough, Sheffield and Ripon Cathedrals, The Royal Hospital Chelsea, St Matthew's Church Northampton and York Minster, where he accompanied the eminent Minster Choir under the direction of Robert Sharpe in services and concerts. In his capacity as a freelance musician, Ben often collaborates with singers, instrumentalists and ensembles as an accompanist and continuo player.Ben's solo organ recital career to date has taken him throughout the UK, most recently appearing at the internationally acclaimed York Early Music Festival with a programme of French Baroque organ music.
